fifteen feet of oak, and a glass wall.
Everything on the bar is our own roast, pulled on a two-group lever we service ourselves. On a Thursday the drum is running eight metres away and you can watch every drop from your stool.

Foundry Row is a short street and we are not the loud building on it. If you reach the parking deck you have gone two doors too far.
- Driving
- Six spaces behind the building, off the alley. The public deck opposite is $2 an hour and never full before ten.
- The bus
- The No. 4 stops at Foundry & Depot. Two minutes on foot, and you will smell it before you see it.
- Bike
- Rack out front, floor pump and a hex set behind the bar. Ask.
- On foot
- Eleven minutes from the square: down Depot, left at the old iron works, second roll-up door.
- The door
- Step-free from the alley side. Two dogs’ worth of patio, kids anywhere, laptops until noon.
- Closed Mon–Tue
- Those are green coffee days: sacks in, cupping table out, nobody at the bar.
