Audit — not a client

Restaurant · Luling, Texas

One phone line, one order at a time

Open at 5 AM. Reachable only if the line is free.

5 AM Tex-Mex Restaurant, Luling, Texas. We audited it from the outside, from public sources. This business has never hired us, never paid us, and has not endorsed anything on this page.

The walk

Where the money leaves.

Three checkpoints, the same three on every audit we run: the search result, the front door, the way to book. All three leak here.

Where it leaks

3 of 3 checkpoints

  1. Search

    Leaking

The only order-ahead option in town is a delivery app, and it takes a cut of every ticket.

  2. Front door

    Leaking

No menu online. A driver deciding at highway speed has nothing to read.

  3. Booking

    Leaking

Ordering ahead means calling during the busiest ninety minutes of the day. Catering runs on Messenger threads.

Breakfast orders / day

Today40Projected65

A projection modelled from our audit — not a client result. This business has never paid us anything.

What we found.

A breakfast-rush kitchen where the single way to order ahead is a phone that is busiest at exactly the hour customers want to call. Every busy signal at 6 AM is a breakfast someone else sold, and there is no menu online for a driver deciding at highway speed whether this is the exit worth taking.

What we checked, from the outside.

Nothing privileged and nothing we were shown. Anyone with a phone could repeat every line below, today, in ten minutes.

  1. Doors open at 5 AM, and ordering ahead means calling during the busiest ninety minutes of the day

  2. No menu a traveller can read before deciding to pull off the highway

  3. Catering and large orders are negotiated in Messenger threads, one message at a time

  4. Delivery apps are the only order-ahead option in town, and they take a cut of every ticket

The repair

What we would build, and what we project it changes.

The left column is work. The right one is a model of what that work is worth — labelled, because nobody on this page has paid us to find out.

The work

What we’d build

  • A bilingual (EN/ES) menu site with commission-free order-ahead
  • Customers pay from the truck, the order prints in the kitchen, the food is bagged when they arrive
  • A Google Business Profile with live hours and the real menu, tuned for highway traffic

The model

What we project it would change

  • The breakfast window serves more customers per hour with the same staff
  • Zero per-order commission — unlike the delivery apps
  • Catering and event orders move off Messenger into a form with a date and a deposit

Projected, not measured. Nobody on this page is a client, so there is no delivered result to report — only what the leak we found looks like once it is closed.

What fixing it would cost

Order-ahead and payment are the product here, not a brochure with a menu on it.

Every month

Autopilot, to text back the 6 AM calls nobody could pick up. One or the other, never both, and never required to buy the build.

The audit and the homepage mockup are free and yours to keep, whether you hire us or not.

Independent audit based on publicly available information. The business name is withheld; no affiliation or endorsement is implied. Brimmscale has no clients yet — when that changes, real measured numbers will replace projections like these.
